My Destiny.
Who is the unchallenged, unmatched champion of all ages.. The one who has brought heroes on their knees.. The damsel of fortune resides at his command.. People call it destiny.. Fate.. D luck bird that has the power to force light out of a black hole.. We men, d most superior organism of the planet, find helpless n manipulated by it. Has anyone ever stood against it?? Who ever tried has been called fool by us.. We say fortune favors the brave.. Isn't it brave 2 challenge this destiny? Respect.. Honour.. Valour.. If you cant give these.. Atleast give a thought.. To someone who tried.. Tried his best.. Think about it..

Good job. Challenging your destiny.
Shows u make ur own fate n dont believ in d 1 already made.
Nice creation.
Hi;
I just landed up in your blog not by "destiny" but by conscious choice (thats what I believe). Well found your name in my recent visitor's list, grew curious and then found Prajna and Ramesh as common friend.
The above do not call for this comment on your blog but its in my nature to speak uninvited and specifically at blogs and theories. So please bear my questions and comments on this piece of writing of yours. :)
1- How do you differentiate between a "champion" and a "hero"? No champion or hero originates without facing a challenge or a match. So "unmatched" and "unchallenged" are wrong terminologies to be used when talking in the context of champions/heroes And trust me all this is a time bound phenomenon. Rather you could have phrased it this way - a champion/hero is one who not only shines but shines sustainably. Its staying at the peak and not scaling the peak that diffrentiates a champion/hero from others. And staying at the peak, one cannot experience fair weather my friend. Its sudden storms !
2- Why fortune has to be a "damsel"? Is it because of a male psychology that wife has to be called "Grihalaxmi?" I really find this funny. But then command does not work in today's world. Its consensus. So its not attacking destiny (if at all it exists and is a damsel) but negotiating suitable transactions that keeps one going.
3- Nothing can force light out of a black hole. Its against physical laws and only God can! But why God has to act such stupidly to prove Himself as one and that too without any benefit to anyone? Black hole exist to maintain equilibrium in Universe and reversing this nature will crowd the space with millions of suns banging against each other bringing life to standstill. So pray not for any "destiny" that will reverse this at least for self-protection
4- How do you define a "superior organism?" Its man's perception that he is superior but again I can put it this way that every animal perceives its clan as the superior. Micro-organisms survive temperatures of thousand degrees and macro-beings stay at depths we never can even comprehend. Your argument may be "man has a mind", but then , what proof is there that other beings do not have? Power is a function of aggregation. Many men can kill a tiger but a single man will most probably end up as pray.
5- You should define "destiny" to stand against it. I do not have a ready definition but as far as my understanding goes its nothing but a pre-planned framework for life. Then my question is how do you know that "standing against destiny" is not part of the plan? Its just perception my friend. One is never free as long as one is in the world. We must stop using the word "freedom", it has not meaning in this world. Rather we must talk in terms of "degree of attachment". In the lowest degree of attachment, one is still attached to one's body. And destiny is nothing but walking towards the thing/person one is attracted to. You want to challenge destiny? Shun all attachments ! That is valour, that is respect and honour of highest order. Shun your body, can you? Shun your mind, can you? Stop thinking for 3 mins, can you? Then how can we be free of destiny?
6- These honour, valour and respect are situational and perceptual variables. The same person is despised by one and respected by other for the same action. The above variables build camps of commitment. You are free of you belong to no camp. Think about it.
7- How do you define "tried his best?" What is the benchmark for it? We still have to think about it....
Have a good day...
Nice writing but needs more thinking not feelings... :)
@Surya..
Firstly I ld thank u for giving it a thought as dats wot I expect.. If my lines wld hav been perfect i ldnt hav asked others to think on it..
Champions hav to prove themselves again n again.. If dey get defeated.. dey loose their title.. But a hero once is a hero for ever.. He lives a life of hero n dies a heroes death.. nd who is d ultimate challenger?? Destiny!! So who is unchallenged?? Its a matter of courage to take d right path wen u hav to choose between right and easy.. How many hav dat??
srsly y do u take wrds as matter of supreme importance.. "Damsel" n "light out of black hole" dey r just some descriptive stuff.. N dese sell.. If dat "damsel" is a result of weird male psychology.. I m sorry :) I didn’t mean it.. nd "forcing light.." ws just to show d gravity of d matter concerned..
Superior organism.. If every clan perceives its clan as superior.. Then wots wrong if i do d same!! i don thing m guilty of saying i belong to d species of most superior organism.. as 4 d tiger case.. I ll compare how many ppl can a man kill n how many a tiger using all capabilities???
Honor.. Valor. r completely perceptual variables. right bt d question is whose?? i believe dese lie within d person.. as long as i honor myself i don care who despises me!! how does it matter..
Destiny.. its nt just a matter of predefined framework bt also d choices.. in d framework dere are many paths bt we hav to chose ours.. a choice between wots right n wots easy.. dat ll determine d outcome.. if i accept dat m just a pawn of destiny n cant challenge r win over it.. why ll i try? if i don’t try. do i stand a chance??
Bout orkut issues.. I srsly wanted to visit ur profile it wasn’t accidental either.. i hav heard a lot bout u.. n ur cmnt said lotz mor bout u.. i believe thoughts hav been created theories.. bt feelings hav done miracles.. Einstein had thought.. bt Jesus had felt.. Both of dem r gr8 in their respective domain.. evn while writing dis i m feelin several of my doubts gettin cleared. wot evr u hav said is quite tru n i respect dese thoughts.. its nt dat m tryin to prove ne thing bt dese wer my thoughts while writing dis.. it might b wrong.. still thanx a lot.. i don kno if u cn understand how much i mean it..
Getting back...(invited this time! :-))
1- Firstly I would like to answer why I take words so seriously and "as a matter of supreme importance". Well thats my nature as a researcher. As a scientist we deal with facts and disassociate ourselves from all fantasy and interpretations. Every fantasy brings out a fantastic story but takes man away from reality and anything that does that is criminal according to us. Mark my words, I said according to US...so do not count anyone else. We have a serious obsessiveness for facts and a serious dislike for metaphors, similies and so on. We work with the basic assumption that whatever is written and spoken is meant exactly whatever it is supposed to mean. It brings about uniformity of views and does not leave any scope for perceptual interpretation and hence misunderstanding. Anything else is despised by us. Hope you understand, its in our training.We have scant respect for emotions and hence usually we are hated by laymen. But what do we care..in the end of the day we attempt to explain nature and explain life, however flawed they may be. We don't create but shed light on existing knowledge and that requires an unemotional detached factual approach which we are proud of. So is that sufficient to explain why I take words so seriously?
2- Coming to your argument...
My friend,going by your response, trust me you did not understand at all my previous post - may be because I did not take any time to communicate it well or you read it with a biased mind. Anyways I will do it now...
When you say somebody/something as challenging you, you and that somebody/thing are two different entities. You both are separate from each other. You have separate identities. Destiny my friend is a "predefined framework" as I mentioned previously and I stick to it. I will tell you why I stick to it later. Now we are part of this framework. Think of it as a network of roads and you are walking on it. You cannot judge if you are not separate from it and know the entire diagram. Our span of control is limited though we claim we can do anything! For example tell me exactly what you will be after 5 years. You will find it difficult. Thats destiny. We are embedded in it and yet we think we are taking decisions. We are all like rolling stones in the network and we shall gather no moss! For taking decisions and challenging it, one has to be free of this network. To get a clear picture,you may read one of my blogs "My Freedom and my Fate - A Debate" for getting to know exactly what I mean. Thats why I dealt at length about freedom in the last post. Its surprising I got no comment on that for that I think was the cream of my argument. You can challenge destiny of you are free of everyone and that includes your own mind and body too. We are entering into the releams of the Spirit now! And thats where I must leave you for its a personal journey of self-discovery and not arguments and judgments.
Now I will tell you why your argument that destiny is also of choices holds wrong. Agreed to an extent destiny is full of choices since I myself have mentioned thats its like a network of roads. But then is it worth having them? What makes you choose? Your mind with all its rational decision process. Intution too helps but then thats again at the releam of the Spirit!So no debate. Now how is your mind programmed to think? Past experience, parents, environment, friends. What control you have on that choice of parents, friends and environment? NO CONTROL! Friends and environment to an extent but parents (Charity begins at home!)who teach the maximum, you do not have any control.Its predetermined. You do not even know the approaching junction in the network of roads, how do you predict what road you shall take? You have to be off the road on the skies freely having a look at the respective goals and then you can predict. How many of us are free that way? We are too busy and involved if not with others, with self!
You are very right in saying that its matter of courage to take right path between right and easy. But how do you define "right"? Its subjective again. Once you are a free being, nothing matters - not right, not easy..but you yourself are a process. You know whats the problem of most of us? We try to be toooo righteous not about self, but about others. We derive the principles of right and wrong from other's actions without a question. Its not the question of right and wrong, but the question of internal satisfaction. If you feel free within, you are "right" even the world says its wrong. Lets not define goodness based on socially desirable ways but by personal questioning.
Rest of the stuff in your argument is either flattering me or despising me..am not sure :-) So I stay clear again of subjective stuff. What exactly you "mean" as written in your last statement I could not figure out.
Lastly I would like to say - instead of challenging destiny, aspire rather to be free and personally I have got my route to freedom. You have to search yours.
